JOAD Advanced Archers
Selection of “Advanced Archers” for JOAD nationals 2012
The top 6 archers who conform to the below conditions (of any bow type) will be selected to compete for the ENSC at the JOAD nationals in Hamilton OHIO in June 2012. Head Coach Robert Turner will personally inform the archers who attain these positions. For selection to the JOAD nationals archers will need to reach ALL the below requirements by the 3 June 2012.
*Where there is more than 6 archers who have achieved this level a trial will be held to select the top 6 archers.
*Where there is less than 6 only those who have passed the levels will be selected.
REQUIREMENTS
• Scores in competition of Yellow pin or above (indoor or outdoor)
• Must compete in one of the following:
USAA indoor National titles Conyers GA,
Easton Foundations Gator Cup
Georgia State target Championships
Sunshine State Games
SE JOAD Cup (*other events may be added to the list)
• Recurve Men must shoot score of 300 or above and Men compound must shoot a score of 330 or above. Recurve Women 290 and Compound Women 320 in an ENSC JOAD event or class at the JOAD distance the archer will shoot at the JOAD nationals (25, 30, 50, 60 or 70 meters depending on division)
• Maintain a Beep test level of 6 and above
• Verbally deliver the steps of the NTS system to ENSC Head Coach, with correct movements.
• Be a current membership holder of the ENSC or an ENSC JOAD class member
• Be a current member of USA Archery
• Give proof of maintaining a GPA of 2.5 and above for all subjects
• Sign a code of conduct as an ENSC advanced member and agree to training regime for event
Costs that will be covered by the ENSC for selected archers:
- entry fee to JOAD nationals (All archers must be accompanied by an adult that will not be paid by the ENSC).
* All selected archers will receive a Newberry Elite JOAD patch to be worn on their competition shirts.
